Lots of people have hidden profile updates from those they found irritating on LinkedIn. It’s a softer thing to do than disconnect from someone. That said, LinkedIn is no longer infected with all the spurious Twitter feeds that used to dominate many LinkedIn users’ home pages so, you may wish to reinstate your connections’ updates.
